The Ancol Ergo Wood Handle Double Sided Brush is a multi-purpose tool to simplify grooming. The pin side of the brush features stainless steel pins with rounded edges, to tease out tangles and removes loose hairs while being gentle on your pet's skin. The bristle side can then be used to smooth the coat. Grooming your pet helps maintain a smooth and glossy coat and is an important way of bonding with them. The Ergo range from Ancol has a variety of tools to maintain your pet's coat, skin, and claws.

We are committed to reducing our packaging and using recycled and recyclable packaging. This now uses cardboard packaging that is widely recycled.

Directions for use:

Begin with the pin side and gently brush the hair in the direction of the fur growth. The pins are rounded for comfort and will pull loose hairs from the coat and undercoat. To ensure your dog has an enjoyable grooming session, do not push the brush into the dog's skin. Gently tease out tangles with the brush. Do not pull or tug on matted fur; this may require cutting. When all tangles are removed use the bristle side of the brush to smooth the top of the coat. Pause or end the grooming session if your dog becomes agitated.

Grooming tips:

Grooming is a wonderful way to bond with your dog, but dogs that are new to grooming should be introduced to it slowly. Begin grooming sessions when your dog is relaxed, if possible, after they have exercised. Use tools gently and avoid tugging on the skin or on knots or mats. Keep grooming sessions brief to begin with, and increase the length of the sessions as your dog becomes used to grooming.
